Hospitals can choose to automatically accept results that fall within hospital-defined normal range parameters, while still maintaining such audit trail information as which clinician reviewed and submitted the results. Additionally, query responses that cannot be passed from a bedside monitor (such as Patient Position or General Comments) can be documented on the results verification screen and submitted with the monitor results.
