two PC-based scripting tools: Scriptlink and ScriptMate. Both of these tools have been rolled into one, and many enhancements have been added to create
our next generation scripting tool, Scriptlink+.
Now, Iatric Systems is pleased to offer Scriptlink+ Standard Edition to hospitals for FREE.
We estimate that this Standard Edition will meet the needs of more than 90% of hospital users in the MEDITECH community. For those with strong programming
skills and technical abilities, our Professional Edition will remain available at a very competitive site license fee.

History
The original Scriptlink product was introduced in 1991 and was a pioneer in bringing simple and efficient scripting to the MEDITECH industry. Scriptlink was providing complex automated day end close activities to hospitals prior to MEDITECH's release of day end automation. Even today, many hospitals prefer Scriptlink Day End Close due to its reliability, extra capabilities and renowned support.
ScriptMate was introduced to the MEDITECH industry in the mid-90's as a Scripting Library designed to simplify the MEDITECH Script.DLL API. Since that time, hospitals have been using Visual Basic and other .NET languages to develop scripts aimed at increasing IT and department efficiencies.
Together, Scriptlink and ScriptMate have been used at more than 120 hospitals and health systems using the MEDITECH HIS.
