Welcome to the 2008 International MUSE Conference! Each year at International MUSE, we unveil new solutions and educational sessions. This year, we have so many new items to share with you that we decided to devote the entire Show Guide to What's New.

Hocus, Pocus, the Magic Behind FOCUS! - It's our new MEDITECH 6.0 FOCUS educational session. To help hospitals better understand what FOCUS is all about, Frank Fortner and David Reed will take a fairly in-depth look at this new technology and break it down into easy to understand parts. We hope MUSE reserved a large room. Refer to the Schedule on page 3 for the day and time.

Other New NPR Sessions - Last year it was Stupid NPR Tricks. This year, we'll delve into Stupid NPR Mistakes that can cause heartburn and caretaker alarms. We'll also host a new MAGIC for NPR session that's for C/S sites, too. Both sessions will be educational and entertaining. Joe Cocuzzo and I plan on having as much fun as last year.

All Things Patient Access - If there are financial folks at your hospital who don't receive our newsletter, they're missing out. Sign them up. You can do so at http://www.iatric.com/constants/newsletter.asp. In it each month, Kay Jackson authors a Revenue Cycle Improvement tip. We also announce upcoming educational webcasts about hot financial topics. Kay will host this new educational session at MUSE and cover topics such as point-of-service collections, ways to improve quality of registration data, etc.

Clinical Solutions - For clinical folks, we have entire Show Guide articles and new solutions devoted to you. There's a new clinical downtime solution, a host of new solutions for the Pharmacy, an update on Med Reconciliation, better Monitor Results Verification than ever before, and automatic notification of Pain Reassessment.

There are other new solutions, too. Many of our new sessions and solutions are direct results of customer input, so thank you. I'll expect you to stop by and say hello. We'll look forward to seeing you. Enjoy the show - Booth 600
